Excellent hotel in a central area close to the main terminal station. Reception staff very attentive and took care of our requests. The room was basic but clean, but that was all that was needed. Bed was very comfortable. The shower room was spacious and again clean. Breakfast was ample, plenty on offer, but seating was sparse once it got busy. Highly recommend. Good place to stay while in Rome. Would definitely stay again.

I am a guest who stayed one night in this hotel, and who is waiting for a response with an apology from administration, and preferably compensation for abuse from the receptionist who had committed insidious emotional and psychological violence against me this morning. Who demanded that I had to pay for the second time for my stay (I am second level genius on Booking. com and have sent to their email paid confirmation from Booking.com) Despite the fact that I warned on arrival that I have a train early in the morning and I had to check out and be in the taxi at 4.15am, the receptionist was not concerned about the note and tried to take my time to resolve his disorganizing, unbiased concerns. He caused a lot of stress and the risk for me to miss my train. Moreover, when I refused to take responsibility for such a disorder, I refused to waste my time, but he cancelled the taxi that arrived. I absolutely disgusted by this receptionist, who acted as self-centered, guest's abuser. God is merciful, I found a taxi near Termini Station and arrived safely on time despite such violence and inadequate behavior from the receptionist of Hotel California. I warned that I will write negative review, and he replied that he doesn't care. Room was unclean and not cozy, calcare in the shower and sink, uncomfortable bed, one tea bag and one sugar for 100Euros. Go somewhere else, for this budget you can find much better offers in Rome.

Nice hotel very close to Termini

We didn't have any problems here. The room was ready early when we arrived. The room itself was a good size and had a decent bathroom. It was only 2 blocks from Termini station. You could almost see it from the train station. Bed was comfortable. Reasonable price. We had the breakfast the next day for 7 Euros which was basically a continental breakfast but it was fine. I would stay here again.

Terrible condition of the room and unsafe location. Our rooms were moldy, hard beds, open wiring, no fire detectors, cracked walls/doors/windows, broken floor boards, broken radiator blasting heat, broken A/C and very noisy street...the list goes on and on. When we requested a refund to leave, it was denied.

Arrived nov 9th very nice man on reception cant remember his name very friendly and great English we were early our room was ready. We had room 507 5th floor room was nice and clean strange set up sink outside bathroom separate toilet and separate shower but we got use to it. We never had prob with hot watervas some people have said. My only gripe was they don't leave little sachetsof milk in same you want cup of tea in your room so I usevto take some at breakfast time and leave in fridge . Breakfast was OK plentyof pastries biscuits bread biscuits etc not great selection of fruit only oranges pkentynof juices coffee etc . Couple mins walk to termini station which was great near all local buses and hop on hop off buses. 20 min walk to trevi fountain and Spanish steps plenty tò do and see. Plenty of cafes resturants shops beside hotel. All staff very friendly can't complain about any of them enjoyed my stay there hotel was quiet enough I would stay again
